Applications are invited for an Internship position under the project: “Role of protein arginylation in the regulation of IL-Iẞ expression and inflammatory response in macrophages and airway epithelial cells” (Principal Investigator: Dr. Sougata Saha; Sanction No. CRG/2021/001302, 11/01/2022; Project Registration Number: NITD/SRCC/SS/BT/2021/20) funded by DST-SERB, Government of India.
Post: One (1 no.) Internship
Internship Duration: 2 Months (8 weeks), tentatively during February and March 2025
Fellowship: ₹5000/- per month
The progress of the intern will be assessed after each month by an appropriate committee following DST-SERB project guidelines. If the progress is not satisfactory, the internship is liable to be terminated.
Accommodation: As per Institute norms
Essential Qualification:
- Students in undergraduate engineering (B.Tech./B.E. or equivalent) or postgraduate science (M.Sc./Integrated M.Sc. or equivalent) in Biotechnology, Biosciences, and related subjects.
- A minimum of 7.0 CGPA or 65% marks at graduate/postgraduate degree/course.
Terms and Conditions:
- The internship position is purely temporary, and the duration of the internship will be 2 months.
- The Internship Programme is only open for students studying in Indian Universities/Institutes.
