Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.
Project Title: “LSDV Research Project”
PI: Shri Sarwar Azam.
Post Code: Young Professional (1 Position)
Tenable upto: Six Months.
Essential Qualification: M. Sc (Bioinformatics/Computational Biology) with minimum three years of experience.
Desirable Experience:
- Strong knowledge of programming languages
- Strong hands-on experience with the Linux operating system, including shell scripting and pipeline automation
- Knowledge of database design and development
- Knowledge of NGS data processing and analysis
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Candidate with experience in viral genome assembly (LSDV) and end-to-end sequence characterization will be preferred
Fellowship amount: Rs. 50,000/- PM (Consolidated).
Age: 35 years.
