ICGEB – DBT PROJECT VACANCY
Applications are invited from applicants, with experience of working in Bioinformatics research projects, for the following vacancies under the Translational Bioinformatics Group, ICGEB, New Delhi. Applications may be submitted online (URL is given below). Only shortlisted candidates will be informed and invited for an in-person interview at ICGEB.

Minimum Educational Qualifications, Essential and Desirable Experience:
Position No 1: Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science OR Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course, who have qualified National Eligibility Tests – CSIR-UGC NET, including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE.
Essential Experience: Proven experience of working in Bioinformatics projects, preferably with use of AI in classification of biological datasets.
Desirable Experience: Knowledge of Python, experience of working in Linux OS and databases; coding in Python/JAVA and
contemporary web technologies.Consolidated Salary: ₹52,080/- pm (inclusive of HRA).
Position No 2: Candidate should have Master’s Degree in any Sciences / MSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
Essential Experience: Experience of working in JAVA/HTML and CMS like WordPress, Drupal, and Joomla.
Desirable Experience: Experience of working in Bioinformatics projects.
Consolidated Salary: ₹37,084/- pm (inclusive of HRA).
Position No 3: Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or bachelor degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent.
Essential Experience: Working in any bioinformatics project. Handling large biological datasets (example, NGS, etc.), Excel and statistical packages.
Desirable: Experience of working in any CMS.
Consolidated Salary: ₹31,750/- pm (including HRA).
