Brief
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Executive to ensure the highest standards of quality and food safety at GO DESi. In this role, you will maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and support the production ensuring Quality is being maintained at all the stages which improves customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all quality management and quality assurance activities in Popz and fruit bar manufacturing, adhering to Company guidelines and requirements in supply, manufacturing, and distribution processes.
  • Ensure conformance to Company or statutory specifications for finished goods leaving the plant.
  • Monitor, assess, and improve process capabilities in the plant.
  • Conduct required tests on raw materials, packaging materials, WIP, and finished products at specified frequencies.
  • Ensure the availability and calibration of inspection and testing equipment, as well as chemical reagents.
  • Ensure storage condition compliance for raw materials, paste/semi-finished goods, and final products as per Company guidelines.
  • Establish traceability and product identification for raw materials, ingredients, and finished products.
  • Monitor and drive GMP/Food Safety culture within the plant.
  • Address customer/consumer complaints, derive root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions through process changes or monitoring.
  • Maintain documentation, document control, and record-keeping in line with Company, Quality, and Food Safety management system requirements.
  • Provide basic and advanced training on food safety to all food handlers.
  • Conduct internal audits, derive corrective action plans, and ensure the effectiveness of verification and validation plans for CCP/OPRP/PRP.
  • Document, implement, and monitor a quality assurance system in accordance with Godesi norms.
  • Drive business and QA functional KPIs and periodically review trends.
  • Collaborate with the corporate team to validate new products, projects, raw materials, packaging materials, and auxiliary materials, executing pilot runs at the plant level.
  • Monitor changeover time on all production lines and develop opportunities for improvement.
  • Visit customer sites to review complaints and provide justifications for issues raised.
  • Conduct daily shop floor meetings to discuss updates, improvements, and actions.
  • Track and monitor operational and quality metrics, working towards achieving company targets.
  • Statistically analyze quality data and identify potential problem areas to prevent issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or Dairy Technology.
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in the food industry.
  • Must be a Certified Internal Auditor (HACCP/ISO/FSSC/BRC certification is an added advantage).
  • Should have thorough knowledge of food processing unit operations.
  • Preferably have field experience in a reputable FMCG company.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a busy and demanding environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Must possess excellent project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience in trend analysis and Kaizen project implementation is essential.
  • Language proficiency in Kannada, English, and Hindi.
