Applications are invited for the two positions of Senior Research Fellow (Project) for the following time-bound sponsored project as per the details given below:

Educational Qualifications: M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, and any Biological Sciences or M.Tech in any Science and having two years of research experience. The candidates should have qualified for any National Level Eligibility test such as (NET/GATE etc.) to apply for the above position.

Desirable Qualifications:

SRF (Virology): Candidate having experience in virology field and to work under BSL3 virology lab. Candidates having experience in influenza biology and virology assays are encouraged to apply.

SRF (Bioinformatics): Candidate having experience in genomics (NGS, RNA seq, ATAC-seq, single-cell RNA seq, etc.). The candidate should be able to design analysis pipelines and work in collaboration with the wet

Job Description & Desired Knowledge:

SRF (Virology): SRF will carry out experiments related to the work element of the project such as immunogenicity and efficacy studies of flu vaccine candidates in NHP-ABSL3 facility and perform viral assays (HAI, MN, ELLA, etc.).

SRF (Bioinformatics): SRF will analyze the genomics and proteomics data generated during the project.

Emoluments:

The selected candidates will draw consolidated emoluments as per Institute Rules, depending upon qualifications and experience. Rs. 42,000/- per month plus 27% HRA (As per DST OM dated 26.06.2023)

General Terms & Conditions:

1. The candidates selected for the above posts will be on contract for one year or the duration of the project, whichever is shorter, at a time.
2. No hostel/housing facility will be provided.
3. Applicants may clearly mention the category they belong to i.e., SC/ST/OBC/PH, and attach documentary proof of the same.
4. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview, if called for.
5. Apart from sending an application in the prescribed format given below, candidates should send a complete Curriculum Vitae along with the names of three referees. The Curriculum Vitae should contain details of experimental expertise and a list of publications.
6. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
7. The interviews will be held in offline/online mode.
