Junior Research Fellow
Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for Junior Research Fellow (02) positions in regulation of DNA damage response in cancer and neurodegeneration, regulation of mitochondrial biogenesis and dynamics, miRNA and cellular plasticity at the Department of Public Health Genomics, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Sanjiban Chakrabarty, Associate Professor, Department of Public Health Genomics, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education
Eligibility: M.Sc. in the field of Biology, Molecular Biology, Human Genetics, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology.
- Candidates with UGC-CSIR/NET/GATE/ICMR-JRF/DBT-BET qualification will be preferred.
- Candidates with prior experience in mammalian cell culture, biochemistry, genome editing, confocal imaging, and animal handling (zebrafish, mouse model) will be preferred.
Duration of the project: 3 Years
