ICMR-National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research, Noida, intends to engage Non-Institutional Project Human Resource positions purely on a temporary and contractual basis for its short-term project tenable at ICMR-NICPR, Noida. Accordingly, online applications are invited in the prescribed format through the link mentioned against each post. The last date for submitting online applications is 30th December 2024.

Name of Project: “National Tobacco Testing Laboratory’’ at ICMR-NICPR Sector 39, NOIDA (tenure up to one year).

Procedure for Recruitment:

1. Candidates meeting the prescribed criteria and having required educational qualification and experience may apply through link mentioned against each post up to 30th December 2024. Any submission made after the specified date will not be considered. No hard copy is required to be submitted and shall not be considered.
2. Eligibility of candidates for interview will be done on the basis of the information regarding educational qualification and experience provided in online application.
3. In case large number of eligible candidates apply for the post, shortlisting of candidates shall be done.
4. The shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview through email and NICPR website https://nicpr.org hence candidates are advised to check their email and NICPR website for updates from time to time in their own interest.
5. Selection of the candidate(s) will be based on the performance in Interview.
6. Candidates are advised to keep a copy of application form submitted online for future reference.
7. Candidates are advised to provide relevant and correct information in online application.
8. Shortlisted candidates are required to submit copy of application form with complete set of all selfattested certified copies of educational certificates/experience and photo identity along with originals for verification at the time of Interview.

Terms and Conditions:

• Late, delayed, incomplete, unsigned applications, or applications without the latest photograph will not be considered and will be summarily rejected without any correspondence. Candidates are advised to apply well before the deadline without waiting for the last date.
• The institute will not be responsible if a candidate fails to submit an online application within the prescribed date for any reason.
• Submission of incorrect or false information during the selection process shall disqualify the candidature at any stage.
• Engagement of the above Non-Institutional Project Human Resource position will depend on the availability of funds, functional requirements, and approval of the Competent Authority. Therefore, filling all the advertised positions is not guaranteed, and the process is subject to withdrawal, cancellation, or modification at any time.
• The rates of emoluments/stipends mentioned in this advertisement are project-specific and may vary according to the funding agency’s sanction.
• All posts are purely temporary and contractual for the duration offered by the funding agency. The appointment may be renewed periodically, subject to satisfactory performance and project requirements.
• The contractual appointment can be terminated at any time during the engagement by either party with a notice period of one month without assigning any reason.
• Qualification and experience should be relevant to the discipline/field and from a reputed institution/organization recognized by the relevant authority.
• Experience will be counted from the date of completion of the minimum essential educational qualification.
• No benefits such as provident fund, Leave Travel Concession, or medical claims will be provided, as these posts are purely temporary.
• Age relaxation is admissible to SC/ST/OBC candidates for posts reserved for their respective categories, not for unreserved posts, as per GoI rules. Age relaxation for Ex-servicemen and Departmental candidates, including projects, will also be applicable as per GoI/ICMR norms.
• The cut-off date for calculating age and other eligibility criteria will be the last date of application submission.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview, personal discussion, or written test.
• Mere fulfillment of the essential qualifications/experience does not guarantee shortlisting or selection.
• Candidates already working in regular or permanent posts under government departments/organizations are not eligible to apply.
• Candidates already employed must submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of the walk-in interview, written test, or personal discussion. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
• Community/Caste Certificate:
  • Candidates applying under the OBC category must submit an attested copy of the OBC Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in the specified format applicable for GoI jobs, issued within one year from the date of the walk-in interview or written test. Only Non-Creamy Layer certificates as per the Central list will be accepted.
  • Candidates applying for EWS category posts must possess an income and asset certificate issued by the District Magistrate/Additional District Magistrate/Collector/Deputy Commissioner/Additional Deputy Commissioner/SDM, as per DoPT OM dated 31.01.2019.
• The above posts are purely temporary and contractual. Candidates will have no right to claim a regular post in ICMR or any other institute, center, or department of GoI. Their project tenure, with or without breaks in any or multiple projects, will not confer any rights for further assignment, transfer, continuation, appointment, absorption, or regularization of service in the funding agency or ICMR.
• The Director of NICPR reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies as per requirement.
• The Director of NICPR reserves the right to accept or reject any application or cancel the advertisement without assigning any reason. No correspondence or recommendation will be entertained in this matter.
• Canvassing or bringing any influence inside or outside for shortlisting or employment will be treated as a disqualification, and the candidate will be debarred from the selection process.
• No request for a change of the interview date will be entertained.
• The selected Non-Institutional Project Human Resource candidates will normally be posted at the study site but may be posted to other sites in the interest of project work.
