Project positions are available to work in a research project in Parasite Cell Biology Group at the International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi. The positions are temporary under a research project funded by the Department of Biotechnology/Department of Science and Technology (Govt. of India).
Post I
Senior Research Fellow
Role: To carry out analysis of NGS-data and proteomics-data of clinical samples
Educational Qualification of Applicants:
- Master’s degree in Bioinformatics or Life Sciences (or equivalent)
- 2 years of research experience in bioinformatics and infectious diseases
- NET/GATE qualified
- Desired candidate should have experience in NGS and proteomics data analysis
Emoluments: As per DBT guidelines

Project Associate-1
Role: To carry out analysis of NGS-data and proteomics-data of clinical samples
Educational Qualification of Applicants:
- Master’s degree in Bioinformatics or Life Sciences (or equivalent)
- Desired candidate should have experience in NGS and proteomics data analysis
Emoluments: As per DST guidelines
Post III
Project Associate-1
Role: To carry out molecular and immunological studies of clinical samples
Educational Qualification of Applicants:
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences (or equivalent)
- Desired candidate should have experience in handling and processing clinical samples
Emoluments: As per DST guidelines
