Role Overview
As an Analyst, Clinical Research Systems & Reporting, you will support system users by troubleshooting, configuring setups, and enhancing system efficiency. You will collaborate with IT, vendors, and internal teams to resolve issues and improve operational processes. Your proactive approach will help deliver high-quality support to users while contributing to training, testing, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Help Desk Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external system users.
- Address help desk incidents, configuration setup requests, and application issues promptly.
- Escalate high-impact application issues to management when necessary.
System Improvement and Training
:- Identify and recommend solutions for system inefficiencies.
- Capture user feedback to enhance operational processes.
- Develop and review training materials and facilitate user training.
- Participate in system testing and execute mock scenarios.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work with IT and vendors to resolve system-related issues and ensure clear communication.
- Provide input to management regarding new system features and functionalities.
- Engage with users to troubleshoot issues and improve their understanding of the system.
Advanced Support:
- Proactively identify training needs or system issues through data analysis.
- Troubleshoot complex application problems and provide advanced support.
Process Ownership:
- Lead smaller improvement efforts and participate in larger projects.
- Demonstrate business acumen by aligning troubleshooting and solutions with organizational needs.
- Mentor junior personnel and actively contribute to team discussions and knowledge sharing.
Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned to support business objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or a related field.
Experience:
- Knowledge of “source writing” and “EDC” systems.
- Experience in system troubleshooting, training, and operational support.
Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking with a detail-oriented and innovative approach.
- Adaptability and a positive attitude.
