Advt. No. 30/2024 – Walk in Interview

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for filling up the following position at the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), Hyderabad.

Project Title: “Establishment of a Consortium for One Health to address Zoonotic and Transboundary Diseases in India, including the Northeast Region”.

Post Code: Senior Research Fellow or Project Associate-II (01 Position)

Tenable up to: March 2025

Eligibility for Senior Research Fellow:

  • Post-graduate Degree in Basic Science (MSc) OR
  • Graduate/Post-graduate Degree in Professional Course (BVSc, MVSc, MBBS, MS, MDS, ME, MTech) with NET qualification or selected through national-level examinations conducted by the Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions (DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.), and two years of research experience in the relevant area.

Fellowship amount:

  • Candidates with NET or Post Graduate degrees in professional courses will be paid Rs. 35,000/-PM + 24% HRA (if applicable).

Eligibility for Project Associate-II:

  • Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/MVSc OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent and two years of experience in Research and Development in industrial and academic institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.

Fellowship amount:

  • Candidates with NET or Post Graduate degrees in professional courses will be paid Rs. 35,000/-PM + 24% HRA (if applicable).
  • Non-NET candidates will be paid Rs. 28,000/-PM + 24% HRA (if applicable).

Desirable Experience:

  • PCR, RT-PCR, Protein expression and purification, Serological assay development and/or validation, Serosurvey.

Age limit: 35 years

Those interested to appear for the online walk-in interview are requested to email their photograph, resume, and copies of documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, and experience certificates in a single PDF to [email protected] latest by 04-11-2024 by 5.00 PM.

The online walk-in interview is scheduled on 08-11-2024 from 10.00 AM to 01.00 PM. Suitable candidates will be screened, intimated through email, and interviewed by the duly constituted selection committee online. Original documents in support of date of birth, educational qualifications, and experience certificates must be submitted at the time of joining. No need to send a hard copy. Interim enquiries will not be entertained.
