Walk-in Interviews for PhD program in for August 2024
(The candidates who have secured CSIR/UGC-JRF, DBT-JRF, and ICMR-JRF or any other fellowship are eligible to be registered for the walk-in interview)
- Reporting Time for Registration: 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, July 25, 2024
- Interview Date: July 25, 2024 (10 AM onwards)
- Venue: Academic Building-I, IISER Mohali
This Walk-in Interview is exclusively for the candidates who have secured a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) to pursue PhD in the area of Biology.
Eligibility: Candidates who have cleared a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) exam, conducted by CSIR-UGC, DBT or ICMR and are eligible to receive fellowship, will be allowed to participate in the interview. The fellowship must be valid at the time of registration (August 2024). Please note; additionally, candidates who have cleared their MS/MSc/BTech/MBBS examinations in 2022, 2023, 2024, with at least 60% marks or equivalent are eligible to attend the Walk-in Interview.

Please bring both the original and one self-attested photocopy of the following:
- Award letter from the funding agency
- Date of Birth (DOB) certificate
- All the original mark sheets/grade transcripts and certificates starting from class 10th, for verification
- Copies of mark/grade sheets (required for all semesters/years)
- Original Government Photo ID and certificate of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PD/EWS, if applicable
- Recent passport size photographs (2 Nos.)
The original certificates will be returned to you immediately after verification. One self-attested photocopy of each of the above-mentioned documents will be retained by the admission committee.
