ADVERTISEMENT FOR SRF POSITION IN CSIR FUNDED PROJECT
Applications are invited from interested and motivated candidates for the post of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) in a time bound research project for a temporary period, purely on a contractual basis as per the following details
Position: Senior Research Fellow (SRF) 01 (One)
Number of Vacancies: 01 (One)
Project Title: Design and Synthesis of Novel Coumarin-pyridine/quinolone/quinazoline hybrids as Angiogenesis Inhibitors Targeting VEGFR-2 TKD against Tumor Microenvironment
Department: Department of Chemistry and Department of Zoology
Project tenure: 03 years (36 months)
Job Description: The candidate must perform Research and Development related tasks for the above mentioned project title
Essential Qualification
- As per CSIR guidelines for Research Schemes/ Sponsored Schemes; CSIR-HRDG website: www.csirhrdg.res.in
- A M.Sc degree in Chemistry/Zoology or an equivalent degree and at least two years of post-M.Sc research experience as evidenced from the published papers in standard referred journals
Age Limit: 32 years
Age relaxation: The upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/tribes/OBC, women and physically handicapped candidates
Fellowship: Rs 42000/- p.m. + HRA as per CSIR-HRDG norms
.Desirable qualification: Basic knowledge of synthesis of organic compounds and characterization, as well as basic knowledge of cell culture and in-silico tools.
