Junior Research Fellow
The Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal invites applications from eligible candidates for two positions of Junior Research Fellow to work under a Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) Sponsored project titled “Development of an oral cancer-on-a-chip device for assessment of drug sensitivity on patient-derived tumor samples for personalized medicine” at the Department of Public Health Genomics, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India.
Principal Investigator: Dr. Sanjiban Chakrabarty, Associate Professor, Department of Public Health Genomics, Manipal School of Life Sciences, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
Eligibility: M.Sc. Bioscience, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Human Genetics, Cell Biology, and Microbiology with UGC-NET/ICMR-JRF/DBT-BET qualification will be preferred.
Desirable: Experience in mammalian cell culture, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing, confocal microscopy, and animal handling (mouse, zebrafish, drosophila model).
Duration of the project: 2 Years.
