Punjab Biotechnology Incubator (PBTI) invites applications for the following Project Positions purely on contractual basis for a period of one year or project duration & co-terminus with Project.

Project – Establishment of Sample Collection Centre at Amritsar and Strengthening of dedicated Analytical Lab at Mohali, to support export of Basmati Rice from Punjab:

Senior Project Associate – One (01)

Location: Mohali

Emoluments: Rs 42,000/- +16% HRA

Qualification and Experience:

Essential:

1. Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized University or equivalent
2. Four (04) Years experience in Research & Development in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science & Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services OR Doctoral degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology/ Pharma from a recognized University or equivalent.

Desirable: Experience of working with national/international testing & certification laboratories /organizations. Knowledge of national/international Laboratory Quality Management Systems and Standards for quality testing. The candidate qualified as Food Analyst by FSSAI would be given

Job Requirement: The incumbent would be responsible for activities as per scope of Project and instrumental/ chemical/ Physical analysis of agri/ food & allied products, water etc.

Upper Age Limit: 40 years

6. No fee will be payable by Schedule Caste (SC), Schedule Tribe (ST) candidates.
7. Number of posts may be increased or decreased as per the decision of PBTI.
8. Incomplete or without fee applications will not be considered.
9. The candidates should apply separately for each post. Single application for multiple positions shall be summarily rejected.
10. CGPA conversion to percentage formula of University/institute should be provided along with photo copy of DMC/Degree.
11. The appointing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all applications without assigning any reason.
