Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the DST-SERB Funded Project in the School of Biosciences and Technology, at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), (SERB-SRG/2023/002344, dated 08-03-2024)
Title of the Project: “Deciphering the role of small RNAs in transposon silencing during male gametophyte development in rice”.
Qualification: M. Tech / M. Sc in Life sciences (Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Botany, and Agriculture)
Desirable Qualification: Candidates having experience in plant tissue culture, molecular biology, and microbiology techniques will be given preference.
Stipend: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA will be given as per the institute norms.

Duration: 2 years
