VIT Vellore Hiring – Life Science, Biotech Project Job

Applications are invited for the post of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-medical) for an ICMR, Government of India funded project entitled in the Centre for Nanotechnology (CNR) at Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), T.N, India

Title of the Project: “Functionalised Graphene Quantum Dots Iron Oxide Formulation for the Therapeutic Assessment of 3D Triple-Negative Breast Cancer Model in Hyperthermia Conditions.”

Qualification (Essential)

1. First Class Post-Graduate (PG) M. Tech /M. E /M. S Degrees including integrated PG degrees in /Biotechnology/Biomedical engineering/Materials sciences/or equivalent.
2. Second class PG degrees including integrated PG degrees with PhD

For example

M.Sc. in Chemistry/Biotechnology/Bioscience/Life sciences/ or equivalent.

Qualification (Desirable)

Candidates having hands-on experience in cell culture, nanomaterials synthesis, drug delivery systems/3D printing / nanomedicine /cancer biology/animal experimentation will be preferred.

Stipend: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): Rs. 61040 (Rs 56, 000/+9% HRA) for first-two years, Rs. 64,092 (Rs 56, 000/+9% HRA + 5% increment) for the third year.
