Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for below mentioned post on a contract
basis for the NIA/NIH through AIIMS funded project titled ‘Harmonized Diagnostic
Assessment of Dementia (DAD) for Longitudinal Aging Study of India (LASI-DAD)’
under Dr. John P John, Professor of Psychiatry and Principal Investigator, NIMHANS,
Bengaluru – 560 029.

Name of the post: Senior Research Fellow (Neuro Imaging)

Number of posts: 1

Emoluments: Rs.43,500 Per month (consolidated)

Maximum age limit: 35 years

Duration of the Post: 1 year. (Initial appointment will be made for a period of six months
and will be extended further depending upon the performance of the candidate)

Qualifications:

Essential:

1. M.Tech / B.E/ B.Tech / M.Sc in Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Masters in Psychology
2. Two Years of hands-on research experience with MRI acquisition and analysis in human subjects.

Desirable:

Research Experience involving analysis of MRI data in human subjects, preferably in neuropsychiatric disorders using various image analysis software (e.g., SPM / FSL / Free Surfer)
