Applications are invited from deserved and suitable candidates for the following post under the project entitled “Technological innovations for development of functional foods from ethnic fermented foods of the Indian Himalayas” under Himalayan Bioresource Mission, funded by Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India at Regional Centre, Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (RCIBSD), Sikkim.
Name & number of post: Research Associate-I (01)
Age Limit: 40 Years
Fellowship/Consolidated pay: Rs. 47,000/- + 8% HRA per month
Duration: For the period upto 19/03/2026 or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier
Qualification: PhD in Biotechnology/Microbiology/Biochemistry/Food Technology/Life Sciences (Desirable: Good exposure to Food Microbiology and Fermented Food Research)
Emolument research persona(s) mentioned in table shall be applicable only if candidate(s) met educational qualification and eligibility criteria as per DST OM No. SR/S9/Z-09/2019 dated 10/07/2020.
- The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. Selected candidates shall not claim for regular appointment either in IBSD, Imphal and its branches or DBT, New Delhi.
- No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
- The upper age limit for above mentioned post is relaxable for reserved categories as per GoI norms.
- Name of the project and applied position should be clearly written on front of the envelope containing application form in BLOCK LETTERS.
- Application form should accompany self-attested copies of educational certificates and mark sheets along with the birth certificate.
- Candidates must apply in the prescribed format.
- Last date of submission of application form is 15 days from the date of advertisement.
