About the Role:
Support the execution of the production, coordinating the line team in operational activities and ensuring the presence of production factors on the shift.
- Overall responsibility of workers safety while ensuring the production requirement
- Optimized production output with desired quality
- Co-ordination with other related departments
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensures the optimization of the production factors (material, method, labor force and machineries) providing all necessary information to the performance analyzer and Production Manager regarding the utilization and management during the shifts
- You are responsible within your shift for all production phases of your respective area of competence.
- Supports the activities of management of the inventory
- You are responsible for the availability of packaging / raw materials, semi-finished envisaged for the successive shifts through the co-ordination of the person in charge for packaging
- Is consulted by the Production Manager in the resource’s allocation & management on the lines
- Is responsible for selecting line personnel and defining the related criteria; is responsible for the planning of his direct co-workers (excluding qualified personnel)
- Supports the Production Manager in drafting the “merit plan” of the workers.
- Supports the Production Manager in the medium-long term line resources planning.
- Is responsible for applying all necessary measures to avoid incidents in the workplace.
- Supports the Production Manager in the reduction of the absences of the co-workers of his Production Manager
- Requests the intervention of the Maintenance in the case of breakdown and repair service; in the cases of urgency he requests the intervention of the Utilities Maintenance
- Verifies the maintenance interventions are performed in the scheduled time and according to hygiene and safety standards
- Identifies and propose areas of improvement for the activities falling
- Carries out the statement of production at the end of the shift
- Supports the planning of the operating activities on the lines within area of competence
- Actively controls using all its available leverage the production lines performance, keeping on focus all monitored targets
- Supervises that the code variation activities are carried out correctly
- Is responsible for the interruption or slowdown in production of the lines based on the information deriving from the operators
- Is responsible for the preparation and start-up of the lines
- Updates the book of the lines, based on the information provided by the operators and manage the change of shift
- Implements the actions defined for the realization of the production programming
- Is responsible for the shift to define and document eventual changes in the scheduling of the production and to inform the Production Manager
- Performs with performance analyzer and Production Manager the implementation of all actions aimed at guaranteeing the quality of the products and the production processes of the lines
- Implements the guidelines guaranteeing the verification the taste carried out by the operators on the lines.
- Is responsible for the checking of the samplings carried out by the operators of the lines
- Respects and instill the standards of hygiene and safety
- Ensures the cleaning and the sanitization of the areas
- Is responsible for the observance of HACCP directives
- Guarantees that all hygiene and safety standards on the lines are respected through information, training on safety issues in the workplace
Who we are looking for:
Education: B.Tech/B.E (Food Science)
Experience: 4-7 years
Specific Knowledge: Food process industries, manpower handling, ISO 22000, auditing, 5S, Process improvement, H&S
