In pursuit of project-based temporary requirements, a Walk-In-Interview is scheduled for the following positions at the Centre for Aromatic Plants (CAP), Selaqui, Dehradun. Candidates possessing appropriate qualifications in the relevant subject/specialization, coupled with consistently good experience, are invited to attend the Walk-In-Interview on 28 December 2023, at 11:00 AM. Candidates participating in the interview must bring original copies (along with Xerox copies) of mark sheets, certificates, testimonials, experiences, etc., along with a duly filled Application Form (Annexure).

Details of Positions:

A) Evaluating Cannabis Germplasm and Selection of Elite Accessions for Secondary Metabolites Profiles

1. Project Scientist-I

• Number of Posts: 01
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA
•  Qualification: Essential: Doctoral Degree in Science with specialization in Plant Breeding/Genetics and Plant Breeding
  Desirable: R&D experience in varietal development, preferably in aromatic crops

2. Lab Assistant

Number of Posts: 01

• Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 20,000/- + HRA

Qualification:

• Essential: B.Sc (Ag.) or B.Sc (ZBC)
• Desirable: Working Knowledge in Agriculture/Plant Science

B) Efficient Functioning of Laboratories

1. Project Scientist-I

• Number of Posts: 01
• Monthly Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA
• Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Chemistry (Organic/Analytical/Industrial) / Pharmaceutical Sciences with experience in the management, maintenance, and application of sophisticated instruments like GC-MS/HPLC/ICP-MS/LC-MS

2. Project Associate-I

• Number of Posts: 01
• Monthly Emoluments: Without NET/GATE: Rs. 25,000/- + HRA, With NET/GATE: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA
• Qualification: Master’s Degree in Science/Agriculture (Specialization in Genetics & Plant Breeding/Genetics/Seed Technology/Agronomy)

Terms & Conditions:

1. Candidates must bring original certificates at the time of the interview.

4. Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications.
5. The posts are purely temporary and subject to termination at any time.
6. Initially, the contract will be until 29th February 2024, with the possibility of extension based on performance and availability of funds.
7. No traveling allowance will be provided for attending the interview.
8. The reporting time for the walk-In-Interview is up to 10:30 AM.
9. The age limit is between 21 to 42 years as of the Walk-In-Interview date, with age relaxation as per Uttarakhand Govt. rules for reserved categories.
10. No objection certificate is required from the employer/university for candidates currently employed elsewhere.
11. The selected candidate will be required to sign an agreement.
