Job Description
As a Technical Application Specialist, your primary goal is to provide superior customer service by effectively communicating with customers, resolving high-stress situations, and ensuring customer loyalty. You will provide support through training, troubleshooting, and closing calls, while maintaining positive relationships with cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for achieving established business metrics and improving instrument uptime through the utilization of remote support tools. Continuous learning and certifications will also be a part of your responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving high-stress situations
- Deliver training and troubleshooting support for biochemistry and microbiology systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient issue resolution
- Achieve business metrics and sales targets for assigned customers/accounts
- Utilize remote support tools to proactively improve instrument uptime
- Continuously improve expertise through learning and certifications
- Assist the commercial team with technical queries and participate in conferences and technical seminars
Requirements
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Microbiology or Biochemistry
- Practical experience in interfacing with customers preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Proficiency in computer skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, Internet, VPN, remote troubleshooting)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
