Job Overview

As a Clinical Project Manager at IQVIA, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of clinical trials, ensuring the successful execution of studies and adherence to contract requirements. Your responsibilities will include developing study management plans, leading project teams, managing risks, and fostering collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders. This position offers the opportunity to leverage your therapeutic expertise and IQVIA’s suite of solutions to drive operational excellence and strategic leadership.

Essential Functions

• Participate in bid defense presentations and lead presentations for smaller, regional studies.
• Accountable for the execution of clinical studies, optimizing speed, quality, and cost of delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support milestone achievement and overcome study issues.
• Manage risks and lead problem-solving and resolution efforts.
• Ensure project quality by identifying risks and implementing appropriate action plans.
• Build and lead the cross-functional project team.
• Ensure project financial success and identify opportunities for revenue acceleration.
• Support staff development and mentor less experienced team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or related field required.
• 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year of project management experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Advanced knowledge of clinical trials and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good command of English language.
• Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
• Excellent planning, time management, and prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Good software and computer skills, including MS Office applications.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and display cultural awareness.
