Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst
We are looking for a Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our LifeScience and Healthcare business group in India. This is an amazing opportunity to be a member of a talented and vibrant Biopharma team. The team consists of about 100+ people and is reporting to the Senior Director. We have a great skill set in market research and assessment, analysis, insights, and forecasting. We are looking for a Senior Healthcare Research & Data Analyst to join our Biopharma-Company and Drug Insights team in India. This is an amazing opportunity to build forecast models
for marketed and late-stage pipeline drugs. The team consists of eight people and is reporting to the Director. We have a great skill set in pharma market assessment, competitive assessment, and brand, therapy areas forecasting. Successful candidates will be required to contribute to the corporate research output of the team by providing analysis on biopharmaceutical companies and their evolving strategies (corporate, business development, geographical and R&D). There will also be needed to work closely alongside other therapeutic analysts to ensure consistent messaging across our content. Flexibility, adaptability to change, and a forward-thinking approach are also crucial skills for this role.About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
- Master’s degree in pharmacy/life sciences/pharmaceutical management is required.
- Atleast 5+ years of experience in forecasting and analyzing pharmaceutical markets is required.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one therapeutic area is required.
- Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex datasets.
- Global experience and experience in directly working with global stakeholders is preferable. Ability to interact and build relationships with co-workers in India as well as in the US and European colleagues.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) with ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and objectively in both written and spoken English.

What will you be doing in this role?
The senior healthcare and research data Analyst role consists of three broad functions: 1) secondary market research; 2) data analysis and building forecast models; 3) project management and execution. As part of the role, you will be:
- Critically analyzing and interpreting complex data and commercial information from a multitude of data sources, and draw conclusions to evaluate market trends, assess commercial opportunities and build market forecasts for multiple indications for global markets.
- Translate domain expertise and secondary research data into knowledge and insights; effectively communicate these findings to the appropriate audience.
- Write clearly, concisely, and objectively in English.
- Project Management and Execution: with minimal supervision, prioritize and manage the execution of multiple projects.
- Ensure deliverables are of high quality and on time.
- Identify areas of concern in advance and recommend solutions.
- Demonstrate sound decision-making ability.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing team to support business development and client engagement.

Biopharma team is part of the Understand business portfolio in the Lifescience and Healthcare Business vertical of Clarivate that support pharmaceutical, biotech, financial services, and managed care companies with the analytics they need to compete and thrive in an increasingly competitive marketplace. Each year, these companies turn to us for their strategic planning, market development, technology management, and competitive intelligence requirements. The team helps pharmaceutical companies make strategic decisions about the development of new drugs and management of marketed products.
Hours of Work
40 hours in a week as an FTE.
