JOB FAMILY: QC/QA – Executive

FUNCTION: Manufacturing.

REPORTS TO: Manager-QA

JOB FAMILY DESCRIPTION:

  • Timely compilation & submission of relevant reports.
  • Supporting to In-charge QC in effective functioning of QC dept. as per laid down Quality systems.
  • To evaluate incoming material, intermediate & finished product
  • Carry out day to day testing of RM, Water ,processed & incoming goods.
  • Responsible for timely & proper investigation of customer complaints through testing of retain samples & giving value addition in complaint investigation process.
  • Assist quality manager for self audits of GRMS/GMP.
  • Responsible for calibration of inspection, measuring & test equipment Maintaining RMPM standards.
  • Interacting with suppliers on quality issues for proper resolution of deviations & Carry out vendor audits.
  • Study trend analysis related to Quality benchmark monthly basis & take proper action for improvement
  • Learn & Use of various statistical tools to analyze trends /consistency in quality of incoming & processed goods
  • To take corrective & preventive actions for nonconformity observed in any audits Responsible for housekeeping & safety of lab Hygiene conditions in the unit.

Qualification:

Science Post Graduate or equivalent – preferably in Chemistry/Microbiology/ Bio-chemistry/Bio-technology/Food technology/DIFAT, Lead auditor experience will be preferred

Experience:

4-7 years of experience in the areas of Quality Assurance and Quality Systems in Distillery, Brewery and Beverage Industry

Knowledge & skills:

  • Hands on Experience of QA/QC function of Process Distillery (MENA or GENA) along with IMFL Industry.
  • Hands on Experience in Process Fermentation, Cooling Tower Water Analysis; Boiler Utilities.
  • Having the basic knowledge about state Excise Related to Distillery operation of any IMFL Industry
  • Having the Experience in sourcing of ENA
  • Having the good sensory evaluation of spirits, Blends & Water
  • Hands on experience in working in WTP (BWW, DMW, RAW) and entire operation.
  • Hands on experience and in-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 22000, FSSC 22000), should have experience in developing quality related SOPs and its control.
  • Has experience in WTP operations and water balancing
  • Knowledge of working in SAP
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
