Job Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Sequencing Sales Specialist professional with extensive experience and consistent track record in Clinical/Life Sciences Sales.
  • To craft and Implement a commercial strategy to build sustainable and scalable growth for the territory assigned for CSD business.
  • The candidate will be responsible for achieving and exceeding the territory sales plan and must have a strong technical competence in the areas of Next Generation Sequencing and advanced molecular technologies.
  • in the clinical market in order to effectively consult with customers to influence key decisions on their platform and drive assay implementation at a defined list of clinical accounts.
  • Closely work with Key opinion leaders, societies and government bodies in organizing clinical outreach programs to increase awareness on role of genomics in clinical research.
  • Handle internal resources and their deployment for successful implementation of platform and drive assay usage.
  • Strong discernment is also required to translate successful account strategy into business results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry or related field; or the equivalent knowledge and experience. [A Master’s or PhD degree is desirable]
  • 4+ years of sales experience and successful track record in Life Science strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Next-Generation Sequencing, Capillary Electrophoresis(Sanger) Sequencing, Microarray or qPCR/digital PCR
  • Understanding of healthcare industry standards, guidelines, and environments.
  • Consistent record of selling to decision-makers and business leaders/owners.
  • Accomplished consultative and strategic sales skills and excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Highly motivated and accepts a meaningful and exciting work environment.
  • Ability and willingness to travel
