OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course. M.V.Sc./M.Tech./MSc./M.Pharm Degree in Bioinformatics/ Biotechnology Biochemistry/Microbiology/Immunology with first division. Experience with Bioinformatics will be preferred.Post II

Eligibility:
- Post Graduate Degree in life sciences OR Graduate/Post Graduate degree in professional course. M.V.Sc./M.Tech./MSc./M.Pharm Degree in Biotechnology Biochemistry/Microbiology/ Immunology with first division.
- The candidate should have a minimum two-year research experiences preferably as JRF (Eligibility criteria as per DST OM No.SR/S9/Z-05/2019 dated 10.07.2020).
- Experience in large animal handling, ultrasound imaging and ovarian biology will be preferred.

- What motivated you to apply for this position?
Answer: I am highly interested in the research work that the National Institute of Animal Biotechnology is conducting, especially the project entitled “Aiming to identify farmer-friendly therapeutics to impede livestock ovarian aging”. I believe that this project has the potential to contribute to the development of better therapeutics for livestock and ultimately help farmers. - What skills and experience do you possess that make you suitable for this position?
Answer: I have a Post Graduate Degree in life sciences and also have experience in Bioinformatics, which I believe is a valuable skill for this position. Additionally, I have worked on several research projects that involved animal handling, and I am confident in my ability to work with large animals. - Can you describe a project that you have worked on in the past and your contribution to it?
Answer: In my previous research work, I worked on a project that focused on understanding the genetic basis of a rare genetic disorder. My role in the project was to perform data analysis using bioinformatics tools and to validate the results through laboratory experiments. Through this project, I learned a lot about data analysis and laboratory techniques that will be valuable in this position. - What do you consider to be your strengths and weaknesses?
Answer: My strength is my ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations. I am also a good team player and enjoy collaborating with others. One of my weaknesses is that I tend to be too detail-oriented, which can sometimes cause me to lose sight of the bigger picture. - How do you manage your time effectively when working on multiple tasks simultaneously?
Answer: I prioritize tasks based on their importance and urgency, and I try to complete tasks as efficiently as possible. I also make sure to communicate regularly with my team members to ensure that we are all on the same page and working towards our goals. Additionally, I use task management tools to keep track of my progress and ensure that I am meeting my deadlines.
