Four JRF positions under DBT funded project

Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow in the Departments of Biological Sciences and Computer Science and Information Systems at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a DBT-sponsored research project titled “Developing Predictive Models for ‘druglikeness’ of small molecules” (BT/PR40236/BTIS/137/51/2022).

Position – Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Principal Investigator – Raviprasad Aduri

Co-Principal Investigators – Sukanta Mondal and Ashwin Srinivasan

The broad area of Research – Application of AI in drug design

Duration of the project – Five years

The selected candidate will get a chance to apply for Ph D degree at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus (Rules of the PhD program for BITS Pilani are applicable)

Fellowship amount: Rs. 31,000 (and 8% HRA if applicable)

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/allied subjects with a very good academic record throughout. Preference will be given to candidates with GATE/NET qualifications and a proven track record of application of AI tools in biological/chemical systems. Relaxation norms of the government of India will be duly followed in a short listing of the candidates.
