The Position
Role & Responsibilities :
Market & Territory Development
- Accountable for the creation of Oncology Portfolio opportunity assessment in the defined territories with a focus on key hospitals & reference labs
- Contribute to shaping account Strategy in oncology and be recognised internally and externally as the product and patient pathway “champion”.
- Ensure follow-up and closure of commercial discussions with clinical experts in collaboration with associated testing lab leaders and the sales team
- Establish strong relationships with key clinicians in the healthcare arena including medical practitioners and executives of hospitals and healthcare groups, and drive the concept and commercialization of oncology centre of excellence for greater patient value
- Demonstrate how our HMV oncology assays can transform clinical care, improve patient outcomes and benefit the healthcare system
- Account-based customized plans and programs to drive clinical adoption of oncology portfolio (serum markers, molecular, tissue, and sequencing) at target hospitals & labs.
- To ensure the achievement of business targets in geographic areas through effective planning and implementation of sales and marketing strategies
- Evaluate market trends and gather market and competitive information
KOL Development
- Build & Own relationships with specific sets of KOLs across the region, and drive their engagement with the support of various cross functions (medical, marketing & sales).
- Designing market research projects to assess attitudes from “ multi-stakeholder customer accounts ” as one entity
- Conducting User Meets and innovative clinical customer engagement activities including RTMs and EGMs
- Participate in relevant industry meetings and conferences as agreed with the manager
Clinical Solutioning & Value Building
- Development of co-branded promotional and educational material for customers
- Establish an environment and foundation for future sales growth and share best practices with the sales & application team members to scale up the value and solution marketing to end customers
Cross Functional Working
- Collaborate with cross functions in developing the consolidated customer-centric & disease-centric medical value sales dossiers, alliance value-add kits and competition rebuttals
- To ensure compliance with Corporate, Regulatory and Quality Standards, Policies and Guidelines regarding products, procedures, operations and customer contact
Key requirements:
- Ability to travel (local and outstation) – Up to 60%
- Have a growth mindset and an attitude to improve and take on additional responsibilities
Qualification & Experience
Qualification:
- PhD in Cancer Biology/Oncology
- Masters in Sciences/Biotechnology with research/experience in Oncology
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience of working in the oncology or sequencing space with a consistent record of high performance and results.
- Experience in Hospital ecosystems will be an advantage.
Preferred:
Prior experience in working with clinicians especially oncologists & geneticists.
Preferred:
Knowledge of Digital pathology.
