5% relaxation of marks may be granted to the SC /ST Candidates. In case of selection of a retired /superannuated government employee. his/her salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms. The last date for submitting the completed applications by email is 31/08/2022 by 5.00 p.m.

Consolidated Fellowship – Rs. 31,000/- pm  plus HRA @ 24 percent.

EQ – Candidate should have M.Sc . or M.Tech in Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Chemistry/ relevant engineering disciplines. The candidate should have the first division in a postgraduate degree. M.Sc. candidates should have valid NET/GATE qualifications.

Required Skills

  1. Experience in generating aptamers OR work experience in working on circulating tumour
    cells or animal cell culture and handling OR experience in molecular biology assays. PCR. multiplexed PCR and good hands-on experience with microbiology/cell culture in BSL2 and above setup. Candidates not having these skill sets need not apply.
  2. Experience in circuit design, PCB designing and fabrication. Microcontroller programming, Mikro C and C programming, LabVIEW interfacing, Raspberry/Ardu1no programming, signal acquisition and conditioning, online signal filtering, Solidworks and CAD designing, and 3D printing.
  3. Having worked on biosensor technology with optical transducer systems and any publication as first /joint author shall be added advantage. Candidates with a good track record during the project may further be considered for enrolment in the regular PhD program of the institute.

*The requirement of the NET/GATE examination for the selection to the post of JRF/SRF may be relaxed for the candidates who have graduated from Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTls) with a CGPA of more than 8.000 (80% aggregate marks).
