Recruitment of ‘Project Executive’ under BCIL‐Plant Tissue Culture
Programme (PTCP)
Biotech Consortium India Limited (BCIL) is a company created by the initiative of the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India and financed by All India Financial Institutions for facilitating the commercialization of biotechnology. BCIL has established the Plant Tissue Culture Programme (PTCP) aimed at providing Quality audit support services and consultancy, stock culture, implementation training etc. BCIL is in the process of constant mentoring of the tissue culture companies across India for capacity building and improving the quality management systems. Name of the Post – Project Executive
No. of Posts – 1 (one)
Nature of Job – Contractual post for One year (extendable on annual basis based on performance on mutual consent)
Job Location – New Delhi
Age limit – 35 years

The scale of Pay – Gross remuneration would be between Rs. 30,000/- to Rs. 40,000/- per month depending upon relevant qualifications and experience. Gross remuneration would include House Rent Allowance, Medical allowance Conveyance allowance, Mediclaim Insurance, Contributory Provident Fund and Gratuity
Essential Qualifications – M.Sc/M.Tech in Life Sciences preferably with specialization
Plant Sciences or Plant Biotechnology.
Desired Skills – Candidates should be proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint. He/she should have excellent command over spoken and written communication skills in English.
Experience – At least 1-2 years of experience in the area of plant tissue culture.
Job Description –
- Organization of Seminars, Awareness Programmes, Webinars, Workshops etc.,
- Preparation of Agenda, background documents and proceeding of the meetings.
- Coordination with plant tissue culture and stakeholders
- Outreach for mobilization of participants
- Drafting contents for updating PTCP webpage
