About The Role
This role will ensure that the highest quality and safe products are provided to Company customers. It will also stay abreast of the latest developments in food technology and lead training & education programs for suppliers on quality standards/product norms.
Responsibility –
- Ensuring Quality Assurance functions towards consistently providing safe & quality products to the consumers and giving a competitive edge to the organization
- Responsible for quality control of products being sourced from suppliers.
- To effectively manage the quality and regulatory processes at all stages along the supply chain from new product introductions to customer deliveries.
- Being part of a new product development team for designing critical quality and food safety parameters for all new products.
- Handling of quality complaints and defining root cause and corrective action plan in coordination with all Stakeholders.
- Identifying areas of quality failures and taking steps to rectify the system-wide preventive and corrective actions to avoid reoccurrences.
- Taking stringent quality measures including preparation/maintenance of necessary documents and conducting audits to ensure compliance with standards.
- Planning & organizing complex activities in relation to implementing the quality agenda, promoting a multidisciplinary approach to quality improvement.
- Reviewing & adjusting existing strategies for quality monitoring and improvement as services develop/the context changes
- Performing the complicated special tests & conducting training programs.
- Monitoring overall functions of processes handled; identifying improvement areas within the team & implementing adequate measures to maximize customer satisfaction level.
- Developing stepwise quality improvement program
- Responsible for timely in-process and final inspection of products and approving the same for shipment.
- Making and modifying the SOP (Standard Operating Procedure), making and modifying the Quality manual.
- Supplier assessment and periodic audits with respect to QMS.
Preferred Candidate –
- PG/Degree in a technical discipline, preferably cosmetics/Chemical/Microbiology.
- Must have 4-6 years of experience where Demonstrable experience in Cosmetics, Female Hygiene products, Baby care Personal Care products
- Preferable – Female Candidates
Skills
- Organizational and planning., Communication, Statistical analysis, Problem-solving, Industry-specific technical knowledge, Compliance requirement.
