How to Apply –

The eligible candidates are requested to send their application in the enclosed proforma along with a scanned copy of the original documents through email to [email protected] by January 24, 2022. After screening the applications, the eligible candidates will have interviewed on 24 January 2022. Original documents of the candidates appearing to interview in person will be verified before interview.

Terms and Conditions

1. For the details of qualifications and other requirements, please refer to ICAR Office
   Memorandum (F. No. Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated: 13/07/2015 & F.No. Agri.
   Edn./6/27/2014/HRD dated: 09/10/2015). The emolument of the above positions will be as per DST/DBT rules.
2. Age Limit for the positions is 35 years max. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years relaxation for SC/ST and woman candidates as per Government/ ICAR guidelines. The minimum age should be of 18 years as of the date of the interview.
3. The eligible candidates should report for the interview 30 minutes before the scheduled time on the date of the interview for necessary formalities. Candidates appearing for interviews should bring two copies of their biodata in the prescribed application format given below (Annexure I & II), two passport size photographs and one set of attested photocopies of their certificates/mark sheets/ experience proof etc. Applicants must bring with them original documents at the time of the interview for verification.
4. Only the candidates having essential qualifications would be entertained for the interview.
5. No objection certificate from the employer, in case he/ she has employment.
6. Candidates whose near/ distant relative(s) is an employee of the ICAR/ IARI, has to declare it and communicate this office as per the format given below. Such declaration must reach the undersigned by January 15, 2022.
7. Candidates reaching after a specified time may not ordinarily be entertained.
8. Canvassing in any form would lead to disqualification of the candidate.
9. In case of any disputes, they will be resolved in the jurisdiction of the New Delhi court only.
10. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the interview.
11. The selected candidates shall not claim for any regular appointments at this institute as the above positions are purely contractual, non-regular, time-bound and are co-terminus with the project.

For Post I 

Stipend – Rs. 31000 per month plus 24 percent HRA

Essential & Desirable Qualifications –

1. Postgraduate degree in basic science or in professional courses (Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/Genetics or other related fields of plant sciences) and must be qualified NET and/or GATE as per norms given in DST Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z08/ 2018 dated 30-01-2019
2. Desirable experience in pathological and biochemical techniques.

For Post II 

Stipend – Rs. 31000 per month plus 24 percent HRA

Essential & Desirable Qualifications –

1. Postgraduate degree in basic science or postgraduate degree in professional courses (Plant Pathology/ Biotechnology/Genetics/ Botany or other related fields of plant sciences) (DST Office Memorandum (O.M) No. SR/S9/Z05/2019 dated 21-08-2019).
2. Desirable experience in pathological and molecular techniques.
