The panel of speakers for the webinar series:
Dr. Koushik Kasavajhala
Is currently working as a Senior Scientist at Schrodinger, Bangalore. He received his Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2020 from Stony Brook University, New York, USA. He holds 8 publications to date, with 2 more in preparation. His work has been cited >4000 times. His research interests include developing enhanced sampling methods and force fields for biomolecular simulations and designing antibodies and drug molecules.
Dr. Sudharsan Pandiyan
Has 15 years of experience in using molecular simulations for various industrial applications. He completed his Ph.D. from Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, Germany. He has 16 peer-reviewed international journal articles to his credit. He is presently working as a principal scientist in Schrödinger INC in Bangalore. His current research interest majorly focuses on building sophisticated molecular models for formulations design.
Dr. Pritesh Bhat
Is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Schrodinger, Bangalore. His doctoral research involved identifying inhibitors for various enzyme targets of mycobacterium using different computational modeling approaches at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani.
Dr. Tatjana Braun
Has a background in Bioinformatics and focused on protein structure prediction and modeling during her Ph.D. studies. In 2017, she joined Schrödinger to work as an Applications Scientist.
Dr. Daniel Cappel
Has been a part of Schrödinger since 2010 and currently serves as the Senior Principal Scientist, Applications science. He received his Dr. rer. nat. from the University of Würzburg, Daniel has a broad scientific background in computational chemistry, focusing on molecular dynamics and free energy simulations, docking, and ligand alignment.
