CSIR- National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI), Lucknow is a constituent lab of the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR). CSIR-NBRI undertakes basic as well as applied research in important areas of plant sciences.
CSIR-NBRI invites applications from Indian citizens in the prescribed application format for the posts of Technical Staff for technical assistance & support in research activities based on the details hereunder:

How to Apply for NBRI Job:
a) The application needs to be submitted only on the prescribed proforma. This advertisement along with the application format is available on our website: https://www.nbri.res.in. The application may be downloaded from the website and also utilized for making an application for the above post(s).
b) Two copies of the Synopsis Sheet are also attached along with the application available on our said website. The applicant needs to fill out both copies of the Synopsis.

The applications received after the last date of receipt of the application will certainly not be considered.
d) The envelope containing the application must be superscribed “Application for the post of …………. Postcode …….., Area …………., Advt.
No ……………….”. Applicants are advised to send their application by speed post.
e) In the case of Universities/Institutes awarding CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grades etc., candidates are asked to convert the same into percentage based upon the formula as per their university/Institute. Applicants making an application for more than one postcode must submit separate applications for each and every postcode consisting of separate Demand Draft.
g) Application once made will certainly not be permitted to be withdrawn and also fees once paid will not be refunded on any count neither can it be held in reserve for any other recruitment or selection process.
h) The candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/ PWD/ abroad candidates and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from payment of the application fee.
i) Applications from employees of Government Departments will be considered only if sent with the proper channel, certified by the employer that the applicant if chosen, will be relieved within one month of the receipt of the appointment orders and also in which vigilance clearance should additionally be recorded Nonetheless, an advance copy of the application may be submitted which ought to must be received in this Office on or before the closing date. d) Self-attested photocopies of educational qualifications/certificates.
e) Self-attested photocopies of caste certification/, PWD certification (if applicable)/ EWS Certification. Self-attested photocopies of experience certificates, (if any type of).
g) One copy of the Synopsis Sheet stapled on the top of the application form and also another copy of the synopsis on the last page of the original application.

Total emoluments including HRA as on date (approximate): 83000/=
Essential Qualification: M.Sc. Botany/Chemistry/Microbiology with a minimum of 55% marks or B. Pharma with a minimum of 55% marks, and 2 years working experience in the area of Pharmacognosy/ Chemotaxonomy/ Herbal drug development.
Desirable Experience: Handling experience of HPLC, HPTLC, UPLC, as well as GC-MS for bioprospection, Chemotaxonomy and also herbal drug development as apparent from SCI publications/ patents.
Job Requirement:
(i) Field collection of medicinal plants, phytochemical analysis utilizing analytical instruments like HPLC, HPTLC, UPLC, and GC-MS and selection of elite
germplasm,
(ii) Preparation of extracts, quality control, herbal drug/ product development.

Pay Matrix: 44900-142400
Total emoluments including HRA as on date (approximate): 63900/=
Essential Qualification: M. Sc. in Environmental Sciences/ Environmental Studies/ Microbiology/ Environmental Microbiology/ Applied Microbiology with 55% marks or B.Tech
in Environmental Science and also Environmental Engineering/ Industrial Microbiology with 55% marks.
Desirable Experience: Two years of research experience in handling and performing spectrometry/ chromatography/ spectroscopy for analytical/ bioanalytical work and also having SCI publications Excellent knowledge of ISO/IEC: 17025 -2017 or GLP practices.
Job Requirement:
Expected to assist in day-to-day analytical works utilizing high-end sophisticated equipment such as ICP-MS, GC, FTIR, IC, etc. To assist in method development, validation of methods, quality control and also quality assurance, technical support in chemical and molecular analysis of samples One position is for bioremediation associated works and also other is for EIA activities.
