How to Apply:
The number of positions as advertised may vary depending upon the suitability of applicants and the needs of the applicants in the project.
The online applications should reach through the prescribed email ID on or prior to 01st July 2021. All the applications will be scrutinized by the duly constituted committee and eligible candidates will certainly be interviewed over Video Conferencing. The date of the online interview will be informed separately.
- All interested applicants should have to fill in the application form (as per the format annexed) and send in pdf form through the prescribed email shown next to the position. Please do not attach any documents with the application form.
- In case of selection, the information provided by the candidate in his/her proforma attached shall be verified from the original documents. In case any information provided found false or wrong the offer of engagement shall straightway liable to be terminated.
- Incomplete applications, late received applications, applications received with any other mode & applications for multiple posts; in a single application form would certainly not be accepted and summarily rejected.
- All applicants must fulfil all the essential requirements of the position(s) and along with other conditions stipulated in the advertisement as of 01st July 2021.
- It is compulsory for all the applicants to fill all the columns of the proforma very carefully before submission. No other format/proforma of application shall be accepted.
- In the case of Universities/Institutes awarding CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grades etc., applicants are asked to convert the same into a percentage based upon the formula as per their university/Institute.

The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the period of the project. There will certainly be no right implicit or explicit for the regular position for any kind of post in CSIR-IHBT, whatsoever.
The decision of the Director, CSIR-IHBT, Palampur will be final for engagement of Research Associate-I in CSIR-IHBT, Palampur (H.P.).

For Post I
Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- and admissible HRA; an increment of 5% for every two years of experience subject to performance review.
Essential Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Biological Sciences/Biochemistry/
Pharmacology
Desirable Qualifications: Broad practical lab level experience in handling cell lines isolation culture of primary cells: of experimental animal models immunological
dysfunctions/inflammatory disorder in mice and rats: Cell culture-based assays. qRTPCR
and techniques like ELISA, Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry etc.

Essential Qualifications: M.Sc. in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/Zoology
Desirable Qualifications: Handling of cell lines and experimental animals like mice
