WALK-IN-INTERVIEW for engagement of Project Assistant and Project Associate-I/II

Eligible and interested candidates may attend the Walk-in-Interview on the respective date as detailed below for purely temporary engagement as Project Associate-I/II and Project Assistant under AROMA MISSION Project at CSIR-CIMAP, Research Centre, Pantnagar and CSIR-CIMAP, Research Centre, Purara, respectively. Name of the Post: Project Associate-I/II (Agricultural Sciences/ Biological Sciences)

No. of Posts: 03

Maximum Age Limit: 35 years

Date/ Place of Interview & Reporting Time: Dt. 15-02-2021 Time 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM

Place of Interview: CIMAP, RC, Pantnagar

General Terms & Conditions:

1. Engagement will be initially for a period of one year, and also may be extended or curtailed depending upon the project requirement, and desired level performance or conduct of the incumbent, as the case may be.
2. The tenure of project staff shall be co-terminated with the project. However, under no circumstances the tenure would be allowed to exceed 5-year duration. The performance of the Project Associate would be reviewed periodically so that any type of one not found up to the mark, could be terminated.
3. The position is just temporary and, therefore, will certainly not confer any kind of right on the incumbent to any kind of claim, implicit or explicit on any kind of post in CSIR-CIMAP.
4. The upper age limitation as mentioned above will certainly be as on date of the walk-in-interview which is relaxable up to 5 years in the case of applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribes/persons with disabilities as well as OBC applicants.
5. Special age relation in case of Widows, Divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands, that are not remarried according to guidelines.
6. On completion of the tenure in one project, in case, one intends to apply for engagement in an additional project, he/she will certainly need to go via the procedure of selection by sending a fresh application under the brand-new project. Engagement of the Project Staff under the new project would certainly be made just after submission of resignation as well as “No Demand Certificate” in the previous project.
7. Wherever possible accommodation will certainly be provided to project staff, if accommodation is not possible, HRA will be paid as per rules. If accommodation is provided, the licence fee would certainly be deducted according to CSIR rules.
8. The project staff will be permitted to avail leave and also dispensary facility, according to guidelines.
9. Experience, where required, will certainly be counted from acquiring the minimum educational qualification
10. Final semester and also result awaited candidates will certainly not be permitted to appear for interview.

Stipend: Rs. 20,000/ plus HRA

Essential Qualifications: B.Sc. in any branch of Agricultural Sciences/ Biological Sciences
(Botany/Biochemistry/Biotechnology/ Environmental Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Plant Science)

Desirable: Fieldwork experience in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.

Project Associate-I

Essential Qualifications:

1. M.Sc. in any branch of agricultural sciences/ M.Sc. in biological science (Botany/ Biochemistry//Biotechnology / Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Plant Science) with CSIR/UGC/ICAR/DBT- NET JRF/LS qualification or GATE.Stipend: Rs. 31,000/ plus HRA
2. M.Sc. in any branch of agricultural sciences/ M.Sc. in biological science (Botany/ Biochemistry//Biotechnology / Environmental Science/ Microbiology/ Plant Science) Stipend: Rs. 25,000/ plus HRA

Project Associate-II

1. M.Sc. in any branch of agricultural sciences/ M.Sc. in biological science (Botany/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/Microbiology/ Plant
   Science) with CSIR/UGC/ICAR/DBT- NET JRF/LS qualification or GATE and TWO years experience in research and development in the research organization. Stipend: Rs. 35,000/ plus HRA
2. M.Sc. in any branch of agricultural sciences/ M.Sc. in biological science (Botany/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Environmental Science/Microbiology/ Plant Science) and TWO years experience in research and development in the research organization. Stipend: Rs. 28,000/ plus HRA

Desirable: Work experience in Medicinal and Aromatic Plants.
