Project Title: “Dissecting the biology of lithium response in human induced pluripotent stem cell derived neurons from patients with bipolar affective disorder”

Age Limitation: 25 Years
Duration: 6 months. Further extension is subject to the performance of the candidate up until the conclusion of the project.

The essential qualification for NIMHANS Job:
Candidates ought to have at the very least one of the following options of qualification:
a) Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences with any kind of National level entrance exam qualification.
OR
b) Graduate Degree in Professional Course (B-Tech) in Biotechnology or equal degree with any kind of National level entrance examination qualification.
OR
c) Post Graduate Degree in Professional course (M-Tech) in Biotechnology or equivalent.
Essential Experience:
- Minimum of 3 months experience in molecular genetic techniques.
- Preference would certainly be given to candidates having experience in epigenetics
Salary: Rs. 31,000/- each month plus HRA *. Salary according to DST/SERB guidelines.
* Salary of Rs.31,000 each month plus HRA for UGC/CSIR/DBT-JRF/ NET or GATE candidates and Rs.25,000 monthly plus HRA for candidates without JRF/NET.
