Emoluments: Rs 31,000/- per month plus HRA as per rules.
Age: Not more than 30 years as on the day of the interview (Relaxation in age is permissible for SC/ST/OBC applicants as per Government of India standards).
Tenure:
- One year,
- May be extended up to the project period and also the availability of funds.
- The position is totally temporary as well as this service will not be taken into consideration as a university service and also coterminous with the project period.

Essential Qualification:
- M.Sc. with at least 55% Marks in Life Sciences/Zoology/Animal Biology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics from any type of UGC recognized University/Institute.
- Applicants have to have CSIR-UGC-NET/ GATE in Life Sciences.
- As this is a collaborative project, the applicant must be willing to travel between the two host institutes and work at the University of Hyderabad as well as the Central University of Punjab, if required.
Desirable Qualifications: Preference might be given to candidates with great theoretical and/or practical knowledge in the areas of bioinformatics/genomics/transcriptomics.
