Name of the Post: DBT-BioCARe Project Assistant

Name of the Project: “Whole genome analysis, Phylogenomic study, identification of novel drug targets and T-cell epitopes against malaria parasites, using NGS analysis, assorted, integrative, computational and comparative genomic approach against Malaria parasites”
Tenure of Job: The position is available for a period of one year, with an initial appointment for 6 months, which might be extended based on project work performance. The position is totally short-term, there will be no right implicit or explicit for a regular position or any kind of post in ICGEB, whatsoever. No TA/DA will certainly be admissible for attending the interview.

Educational Qualification:
Essential: M.Sc. in Sciences (any type of stream), with experience on NGS data analysis.
Desirable: Experience of working in Bioinformatics/NGS associated projects. Knowledge of Computer languages & programming skills. Excellent written along with verbal communication abilities.
Expected duties: The applicant needs to contribute to the objectives of the project by development as well as execution of research plans for the research project, to discuss the interpretation of results as well as the preparation of manuscripts for publications.
Emoluments: Salaries will be offered according to DBT BioCARe standards (Currently 25000 INR/month consolidated).
