General Information/Details about the post:
- The appointment is temporary and will terminate automatically with no compensation or notice on the Conclusion of this project.

- The prescribed educational qualification is the bare minimum and mere possession of
the same does not entitle candidates to be called for interview. Where a number of

Emoluments: Rs. 60,000/- per month
Essential Qualifications & Experience: M.Sc. in Life Sciences / Equivalent qualification with relevant specialization with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 on 10 point scale or 60% marks) and consistent academic record with minimum 3 years’ experience in molecular biology techniques/microinjection/cryopreservation/ animal health monitoring / genotyping.
Preference: Candidates with experience in cryopreservation and genotyping will be favoured.
Job Requirement: The incumbent is expected to perform cryopreservation and genotyping activities and also experiments involving transgenic and knockout lines. The incumbent is also expected to be involved in the day-to-day function of the Animal House Facility.
For Post II
Emoluments: Rs. 37,080/- per month
Essential Qualifications & Experience: M.Sc. in Life Sciences with a minimum of 2 years of experience in lab animal breeding/tissue culture/microinjection / surgical procedures/animal health monitoring / genotyping / disease diagnostics.
Preference: Candidate with experience in lab animal breeding/animal experimentations / molecular biology techniques, lab animal management and surgical experience will be preferred.
Job Requirement: The incumbent is expected to provide technical assistance to students and faculties in molecular biology, lab animal experiments and surgeries. Managing inventories and duties given by superior authorities.
For Post III
Emoluments: Rs. 33,900/- per month
Essential Qualifications & Experience: B.Sc. / B.Pharm. or equivalent degree in life sciences with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in laboratory animal breeding and management / molecular biology, genotyping.
Preference: Candidate with experience in laboratory animal management will be preferred.
Job Requirement: The incumbent is expected to assist in lab animal’s daily management, management of records and other routine activities of the facility.
For Post IV
Emoluments: Rs. 20,600/- per month
Essential Qualifications & Experience: B.Sc. / B. Pharm / DMLT or equivalent degree in Life Sciences with a minimum one year of experience in laboratory animal care and management/ veterinary clinical pathology.
Job Requirement: The incumbent is expected to assist in lab animal’s daily management, perform clinical pathology tests and preparation of reports, management of records and other routine activities of the facility.
For Post V
Emoluments: Rs. 20,600/- per month
Essential Qualifications & Experience: B.Sc. / B. Pharm or equivalent degree in Life Sciences with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Zebrafish management.
Job Requirement: The incumbent is expected to assist in the daily management of zebrafish; management of records and other routine activities of the facility.
