Age of the applicant will certainly be reckoned as on date of walk-in-interview. Nevertheless, age is relatable for all the positions as per the Government of India/CSIR instructions.
How to Apply for NBRI Job:
HRA will certainly be admissible according to the sanction of the projects:
a) The Application form will certainly be provided at the venue on the date. Nevertheless, applicants may download the application form ahead of time from the website www.nbri.res.in. At the time of the interview, candidates ought to bring one most current photo, original documents in addition to a self-attested copy of certifications of exams passed (beginning with matriculation), certification indicating the date of birth, caste certification (in case of SC/ST/OBC) and also experience certificate, etc. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and ‘result awaited’ will not be taken into consideration. b) Mode of Selection: Through Interview. The shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by the Selection Committee as well as, based upon the performance in the interview; a panel of recommended applicants will certainly be formed. In case of turning up of large no. of applicants, the interview may continue for the following day.
c) The positions are totally short-term on contract basis as well as co-terminus with the sponsored projects. Additionally, the above stipend( s) is tentative as well as the exact same will be finally decided based upon the availability/provision of funds in the relevant sponsored projects.
d) In the case of Universities/Institutes awarding CGPA/SGPA/OGPA grades etc., candidates are requested to convert the same into percentage based on the formula as per their
University/Institute.
e) To avoid any type of inconvenience. just those applicants who strictly fulfil the eligibility criteria and have the degree/mark sheet in the aforementioned subjects must turn up for a walk-in-interview.
No TA/DA will be admissible.

Stipend: Rs. 25000/- per month plus HRA
Essential Qualification NBRI Job: MSc (55%) in Biochemistry
Desirable Qualification NBRI Job: Experience in techniques related to extraction of natural dyes. Knowledge of running equipment like HPLC, spectrophotometer.
For Post II
Stipend: Rs. 25000/- per month plus HRA
Essential Qualification NBRI Job: MSc (55%) in Botany
Desirable Qualification NBRI Job: Research experience in morphological characterization of economic plants.
For Post III
Stipend: Rs. 31000/- per month plus HRA
Essential Qualification NBRI Job: MSc in Plant Biotechnology/ Botany/ Biochemistry / Plant Science / Life Science / Biological Sciences with CSIR / UGC / ICAR / DBT-NET-JRF/ LS qualification or GATE.
Desirable Qualification NBRI Job: Experience in molecular biology techniques.
For Post IV
Stipend: Rs. 31000/- per month plus HRA
Essential Qualification NBRI Job: MSc in Botany/ Plant Science / Biotechnology/ Plant Physiology with CSIR / UGC / ICAR / DBT-NET-JRF/ LS qualification or GATE.
Desirable Qualification NBRI Job: Knowledge of Plant ecology, Plant physiology and working knowledge of MS Excel and other statistical analysis.
For Post V
Stipend:
- Rs. 31000/- per month plus HRA
- Rs. 25000/- per month plus HRA
Essential Qualification NBRI Job: M.Sc. (55%) in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Botany / Environmental Science with CSIR / UGC / ICAR / DBT / DST-INSPIRE – NET-JRF/ LS qualification or GATE.
Desirable Qualification NBRI Job: Experience of working in the field and handling microbes etc. and working with bio inoculants / microbial diversity.
Essential Qualifications:
M.Sc. (55%) in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Botany / Environmental Science.
For Post VI
Stipend:
- Rs. 35000/- per month plus HRA
- Rs. 28000/- per month plus HRA
Essential Qualification NBRI Job: M.Sc. (55%) in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Botany / Environmental Science with CSIR / UGC / ICAR / DBT / DST-INSPIRE – NET-JRF/ LS qualification or GATE along with 02 years of research experience.
Desirable Qualification NBRI Job: Experience of working in the field and handling microbes etc. and working with bio inoculants / microbial diversity.
Essential Qualifications:
M.Sc. (55%) in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Biochemistry/ Botany / Environmental Science along with 02 years of research experience.
