National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, Guwahati (NIPER-G) is an Autonomous Institute of National importance and the first National Pharma Institute in North-East India set up by the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, Govt. of India by an Act of Parliament, to impart top quality education as well as Research in the area of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Institute intends to fill the following post and also has actually been arranged a Walk-in-Interview to be held on 26/09/2020 at 3:00 PM, under the Project title “Integrated Information System to Interpret, Integrate and mitigation of cardio metabolic healthcare in North east tribes of Assam and Mizoram” in the Department of Pharmacy Practice on Contractual.

Minimum Educational Qualification for the NIPER Job:

Grad in Life Science from a recognized university with three years of experience or Master’s degree in Biotechnology/biochemistry and various other appropriate subjects from a recognized university.

Desirable Educational Qualification:

• Preference will be given to the applicant having experience in clinical sample handling, clinical research, community related work specially to deal with tribal of NE states.
• The chosen applicant is additionally expected to organize, manage the project work and also help daily research work to help with and handle the project work.
• He/she must be expert in blood withdrawing, biological sample processing and also storage.
• He/she must speak local language Assamese.
• Chosen person must be willing to travel tribal areas.

Fellowship: Rs.31,000/- consolidated.
