Applications for following scientific positions are welcomed from enthusiastic, young Indian researchers having an outstanding academic record and proven scientific achievements together with the requisite experience and a high degree of motivation and also desire to take up research as a career in the above-mentioned areas.

How to Apply:
- Applicants can apply through on-line portal, link of which will certainly be available on CSIR-IITR website http://iitrindia.org/En/Recruitment.aspx from 19-08-2020 at 11:00 am onwards as well as closes on 21-09-2020 at 5:30 pm. It is necessary to take the print out of the successfully sent online application, sign the same and also attach the self-attested obligatory documents & Photo. The print out of the application in addition to the pertinent documents should reach CSIR-IITR on or before 05-10-2020 at 5:30 pm.
- Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 100/- Based on” Fee payment procedure” readily available on the web site. A printed copy of e-receipt of the same must be enclosed with the application.
- The applicants belonging to SC/ST/PwD/ Women/Regular CSIR Employees/Abroad applicants are exempted from payment of application fee.
- Applicant is required to upload his/her current passport size scanned colour photograph, signature each (max size 50 KB) as well as also pertinent certifications at the specified places in the online application.
- Candidates must keep a copy of the application print– out as well as payment details, if any, for their record.
- Fee once paid will not be reimbursed on any account nor can it be held in reserve for any other recruitment or selection procedure.
- A candidate can apply for multiple postcodes based on fulfilling all eligibility conditions attached to each individual postcode. Nonetheless, the applicant needs to fill up the application (except primary/registration details) with the requisite application fee separately for each postcode.

Job Specification: To be part of a group of scientists working in the area of genomics,
running the central bioinformatics facility, developing independent projects and also providing bioinformatics support to the user scientists of the Institute.
