Applications are invited on the prescribed form along with the application fee of Rs.200/- in the shape of Bank Draft payable at Ludhiana in favour of Comptroller, PAU, Ludhiana on any working day from 9.00 A.M. to 5.00 P.M. along with attested copies of certificates for two positions of Senior Research Fellow @ Rs. 31,000/- PM fixed + 16% HRA in the scheme “Consortia for Research Platform (CRP) in Hybrid technology for higher productivity in selected field and horticultural crops – Wheat, ICAR 78 (PC 2345)” in Wheat Section for a period of six months or till the termination of the scheme whichever is earlier.

The last date for the receipt of applications (duly completed in all respects) in this office is 02-07-2020. Incomplete applications or unsupported by the requisite documents will not be entertained. The candidate
ought to appear for an interview on 08-07-2020 at 12.00 noon in the office of the undersigned (Room No. 114, P.G. Building, PAU, Ludhiana). No separate information for interview will be sent. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.Qualifications:
- B.Sc.( Agri.)/ Biosciences/Biotechnology/Forestry with minimal OCPA 6.0/ 10.0 or 60 % marks.
- M.Sc. Plant Breeding/ Plant Breeding & Genetics/Genetics ‘crop plants’/ Biosciences/Biotechnology/Forestry with minimal OCPA 6.5/ 10.00 or 65% marks.
Note-1: The candidate that does not possess a Master’s degree in the relevant subject yet has a PhD Degree in the discipline required at the Master’s level, will be eligible for the post.
Note-II: Candidates having post graduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years Bachelor’s degree has to have NET qualification and also 2 years of research experience. However, PhD candidates are exempted from this condition. The applicants ought to ensure that they fulfil the qualifications by the last day of submission of application.
Note-III: Desirable: Experience/ Research work in the relevant field.
