Name of the Post: Junior Research Fellow
Name of the Project: “Exploitation of genetic and genomic resources for improvement of niger (Guizotia abyssinica L.F. Cass) through breeding and biotechnological tools”
Sub Project: Development of homozygous lines using doubled haploid technology.
Period: Up to 28/2/2024 or till termination of the projects whichever is earlier.

Interview date and mode of the interview (on-line/ personal interview at Department of PMBB, COA, IGKV Raipur) will be communicated to qualified applicants via e-mail/telephone. No separate call letter for the interview will be issued. Application for
each position needs to be sent out separately indicating the name of the post, project and Principal Investigator in PDF format.- For attending the interview no TA/DA will be provided.
- In no case chosen applicant from one project will be transferred to any other project.
- Upper age limitation is 35 years (for ST/SC/OBC/ Female/PH – 40 years) as on 31.05.2020.

Salary: Rs. 31000 + 24% HRA/month for 1st & second year Rs.35000 + 24% HRA/month for Third & fourth year.
Qualifications: M.Sc.( Ag) Biotechnology/ M.Sc Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/ with experience in Plant tissue culture/ genetic engineering/Genomic techniques. The applicant should have actually chosen for PG through a procedure described with any one of the following *.
Post II
Salary: Rs. 31000 + 24% HRA/month for 1st & second year Rs.35000 + 24% HRA/month for Third & fourth year.
Qualifications: M.Sc.( Ag) Biotechnology/ M.Sc. Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology/M. Sc. Plant Breeding & Genetics with experience in Plant breeding & selection/plant genotyping & phenotyping. The applicant must have chosen for PG with a process described with any one of the following *.

a. Scholars who are selected with National Eligibility Test-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant professorship) and GATE.
b. The selection procedure with National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.
