Job Title: Junior Research Fellow with salary Rs. 31000/- each month +24 o HRA for the initial 2 years and also likely to be continued as Senior Research Fellow with Rs.35000/- monthly +24 Yo HRA for next 3 years with an evaluation of performance after every 6 months.

Essential Qualifications: Based on DST OM No. SR/S9/Z -0812018 dated 30.01.2019, the candidate must have M.Sc. in Botany/Biochemistry/Microbiology with a qualification in
NET examination conducted by CSIR-UGC/ICAR/DBT or any National Agencies or
GATE.
Desirable Qualifications: Experience in plant ecology, plant physiology, biochemistry, plant molecular biology or microbiology project work. Need to be ready for extensive travelling between Sundarbans and also West Bengal State University frequently (almost every week) for conducting extensive fieldwork as well as rigorous lab-based experiments.
Upper Age limit: 28 yrs.

Job Title: Research Associate I with a salary of Rs. 47000/- monthly +24 % HRA for next 5 years with an evaluation of performance after every 6 months.

applicant must have a Ph.D. degree in any field of Biological Sciences, preferably in Botany or Biochemistry or Microbiology or Ecology with publications in SCI-indexed journals.
Desirable Qualifications: Proven research experience in plant ecology, plant physiology, biochemistry, plant molecular biology or microbiology. Should have earlier experience of field-based research in addition to laboratory-based work as well as must be ready for extensive travelling in between Sundarbans and West Bengal State University frequently (nearly every week) for conducting extensive fieldwork along with rigorous lab-based experiments.
