Online link for submission of application is available from 28-04-2020 and the last day is 18-05-2020 by 5 PM. Applicants must fill an online application at www.niab.org.in.
Candidates are advised to fill the online application in sufficient time prior to the last day to avoid last-minute technological issues. Shortlisted applicants will be called for an interview prior to selection. TA/DA will not be paid for attending the interview.
No need to send out a hard copy. Interim enquiries will certainly not be entertained.
Post I
Name of the Post: Project Associate-II
Duration: 6 months (extendable until the conclusion of the project).
Eligibility:
a. Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M. Pharm/M. Technology in Life
Sciences/M. V. Sc. etc.)or,
b. Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology) with NET qualification or,.
c. Non-NET-qualified candidates with a post-graduate degree in Life Sciences can likewise apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.
Desired Experience: Candidate with at least two years of experience in molecular biology/Gene cloning/cell culture technique will be given preference.
Age: 35 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates based on Government instructions).
Fellowship amount: Rs. 35000/- PM +24% HRA (if applicable) based on the DST guidelines.
Post II
Name of the Post: Project Associate-I
Duration: 6 months (extendable until the conclusion of the project).

a. Post Graduate degree in professional courses (M. Pharm/M. Technology in Life Sciences/M. V. Sc. etc.)
or,
b. Post Graduate Degree in Life Sciences (Biotechnology/Biochemistry/Microbiology) with NET qualification or,.
c. Non-NET-qualified candidates with a post-graduate degree in Life Sciences can likewise apply; who will be paid as per DST guidelines.
Desired Experience: Candidate with experience in molecular biology/Drug delivery system/ Nanotechnology/ Gene cloning/cell culture technique will be given preference.
Age: 28 years (Relaxation is admissible in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government instructions).
Fellowship amount: Rs.31000/- PM +24% HRA (if applicable) according to the DST guidelines.
