Subject: Prime Minister’s Research Fellows (PMRF)-inclusion of Central Universities as Host Institutes-reg.
In partial modification of this Ministry’s orders no. 35-5/2017-TS.I dated February 8, 2018, and July 26, 2018, on the above-mentioned subject, I am directed to convey approval of the competent authority for inclusion of the Central Universities, which are among the top 100 NIRF ranked universities as host institutions, in addition to IITs, IISERs and IISc, Bangalore for carrying out research in Science and Technology domains under the PMRF Scheme.
This will be effective from the next round of selection under the PMRF Scheme. All other conditions, as mentioned in the above-referred orders dated February 8, 2018, and July 26, 2018, will remain the same.
