Life Sciences
Created in 1998, the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards Recognize and Encourage Distinguished women in science Around the World. Every year, five Laureates are known for their contributions to the progress of science, in Life Sciences or Physical Science, Mathematics and Computer Science in alternating years.
The 2020 Awards will designate five prominent women researchers in the Life Sciences, each working in one of these areas: Africa and the Arab States, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America & North America.
The awards will be given in March 2020 in Paris to the five women chosen by an international jury. Each Laureate will get $100,000.
