Applications invited for Summer Research Internship at RCB
Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is a part of national significance, Made by an Act of Parliament, according to Government of India through the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) under the auspices of UNESCO. RCB has emerged As a pioneering institute for research in Biotechnology and is discovering new horizons in Providing world-class education, research and training at the interface of numerous Disciplines for the benefit of humankind.
RCB includes a solid commitment to exploring new frontiers, furthering science and Connecting revolutionary regions of Biotechnology through cutting edge research. The Centre boasts of the state-of-the-art research labs at par with the International Standards. It’s Advanced Technology Platform Centre (ATPC) is an Extremely sophisticated Instrumentation facility consisting of high throughputs technology platforms such as Genomics, Proteomics, Mass Spectrometry, Microscopy platforms such as Electron Microscopy and
Super Resolution Confocal Microscopy, Molecular Interaction, and the Animal Experimentation Platforms. RCB is also launching a Bio-incubator in Association with BIRAC that hyperlinks promising research results to commercialization By nurturing technology development in the wide area of biopharmaceuticals.The scientists in the Centre work in the interface of multiple areas in the regions Associated (but not restricted ) to structural systems, artificial and chemical biology, Virology, plant biotechnology, molecular medicine, analysis of complex diseases, drug Discovery approaches. Applications are invited from undergraduate and postgraduate students in their final Year for Summer Research Internship at RCB from 15 May to 01 July 2019.
Interested students can mail their application mentioning an area of interest and Attaching their resume together with a write up on what motivates them for a career in Research and their tentative research idea (200 words) to [email protected] by 25 April 2019.
Please note that the hostel facility isn’t available at present in the Centre. You may have To make your own arrangement for stay.
